  • EMC/EMI Signal Generators

The EMC Shop stocks EMC/EMI Signal Generators with AM, FM, Pulse, and Phase modulation for IEC, MIL-STD, DO-160, CISPR and more. Contact us now to upgrade or discuss both radiated and conducted immunity testing systems.

Radio Frequency (RF) signal generators produce CW (continues waves) tones. The output frequency can be tuned anywhere in its frequency range. EMC/EMI testing will require the signal generator to have AM,and Pulse modulation. In anticipation of the next edition of IEC 61000-4-3, muti-tone signal generators are available for faster radiated immunity testing.

  • EMI Antennas

The EMC Shop stocks most high power EMI antennas for radiated immunity compliance testing to standards such as MIL-STD-461 RS103, IEC 61000-4-3 and more. Rent, buy or lease individual EMI antennas or order a complete turn key systems for RF immunity testing.

Electromagnetic immunity (EMI) involves both E-Field (Electric) and H-Field (Magnetic) antennas capable of handling input from high power RF amplifiers. Most modern EMI antennas are exteremely broadban cutting down the amount of antennas (cost) and time to setup and recalibrate your shielded environment.

    EMI Antenna Type's

    • BiLogs: Combining biconical and log periodic chassis to cover most commercial compliance requirements.
    • Horn Antennas: Ideal for high frequency susceptiblity testing - typically for Military and Avionic standards.
    • Monopoles: The most efficient way to transmit in low frequency ranges (non-directional)
  • Stripline for Radiated Immunity

Strip Lines are made for the generation of homogeneous electromagnetic fields and specified in ISO 11452 part 5 and EU guidelines 95/94. The strip lines can be used for testing of electrical/electronic submodules (EUB) and their associated cables.
