Test Equipment Description
Com-Power's ANK-910M antenna kit covers the frequency of 9 kHz to 1 GHz, Like the ANK-310 kit, this kit also includes the collapsible biconical and compact log periodic antennas, in addition to a 1.04-meter rod [monopole] antenna for frequencies below 30 MHz.
The ANK-910M is intended for EMI radiated emission testing and includes three antennas to cover 9 kHz to 1 GHz; a Monopole Antenna covering 9 kHz to 30 MHz, a Biconical Antenna covering 30 MHz to 300 MHz, and a Log Periodic Antenna to cover 300 MHz to 1 GHz.
Additionally a PAM-103 preamplifier is included in this kit to improve system sensitivity. Near Field Probes are provided to allow the user to “sniff” around the circuits, cables and enclosures for noise source. A Comb Generator is also provided as a reference noise source as well.
The ANK-910M carrying case has a specific storage compartment for each item to minimize risk of
damage during transport. The carrying case is made of rugged plastic material that can withstand impact during transport and field use. The antennas and preamplifiers included in the
kit are individually calibrated and test data will be included.
