Diamond Engineering FSM-10-18 10-Pound Capacity 18Ghz FSM Full Spherical Mount

The Full Spherical Mount (FSM) is an additional phi/roll axis which can be added to any DAMS System to create a phi/theta and unobstructed Az/el positioning system. The mount and ball bearing are constructed of Delrin® for low reflectivity. The mount is required for unobstructed gain, efficiency, TRP/TIS and 3D spherical measurements to resolutions as low as 0.0625 degrees. The belt driven system plugs direcly into the DAMS platform controller.

DAMS PLATFORM OPTION
The new Diamond Engineering Full Spherical Mount is now a DAMS platform option that may be added to any DAMS platform. The mount utilizes Delrin ball bearings and structure, as well as enabling full spherical measurements to resolutions of 0.1 degrees. The mount is ideal for unobstructed gain data and efficiency with a low radar cross section less than -20dBSm. The belt driven system is a plug-and-play substitution to the DAMS elevations motor.
