Test Equipment Description

Mobile Chamber APREL offers two concepts of compact chambers:

  • Mobile Shield is an add-on option for use with the standard size EM-ISight automated test system. It is designed to provide isolation from ambient noise sourses that may be detected by the system during a measurement process. Features include an automated door operated by push button, multiple pass through filter options (including HDMI, LAN, K-Type) and sizes.

  • Wireless Throughput Tester is a small form-factor anechoic chamber designed to test over the air and conducted performance of a WiFi Access Point operating on 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. Shipped fully integrated with a built-in turntable and 2 isolation shield enclosures for Client Access Point (2.5 GHz & 5 GHz), programmable attenuator and required filters. Delivered fully operational the system can be in operation within hours of unpacking.

Both solusions are compact, mobile, and an inexpensive alternative to conventional anechoic chambers.

WTT‐127A Wireless Throughput Tester is a small form‐factor low cost anechoic chamber that comes fully integrated with a built‐in turntable, 2 isolation shield enclosures for Client AP (2.5G & 5GHz), signal interference filters, programmable RF attenuators and an OTA (over the air) conduction port. The solution is shipped ready to test throughput in both Over The Air & Conductive modes with flexibility to perform other wireless performance parametric testing.

The WTT‐127A is a compact and inexpensive alternative to conventional anechoic chambers. It is delivered ready to use and tests throughput vs range simulating realistic use conditions. Software controls the test applications including wireless path loss data throughput. The WTT‐127A assists in the development of WiFi solutions, provides QA engineers with a method of validation and shortens the development cycle through improved test productivity.
