The Vectawave VBA 2000-4000P is a pulsed amplifier operating over the 1-2GHz frequency band with 4kW output power.
It utilizes GaN technology for its specific suitability for this application, giving high pulse power and solid state reliability.
The amplifier runs in class AB linear mode with modest CW output capability, making it suitable for CW and SW tests as well as Pulsed Mode up to Cat G radiated susceptibility in the RTCA DO-160 standard, with a suitable antenna and chamber. The amplifier incorporates an internal pulse modulator, programmable from either the front panel or remote control.
