The EMC Shop configures this AR amp with a GTEM and our homebrew software allowing for minimal test equipment and accomplish IEC 61000-4-3 and IEC 61000-4-6 with the AR 40WD1000. Our EMC experts have made setup and testing easy while keeping costs down.

Radiated Testing Capabilities

• Generate 10 V/m in GTEM's up to 1750mm septum size and standard Shielded enclosures at 1 meter distance
• Generate 20 V/m in GTEM's up to 750mm septum size
• Generate 30 V/m in GTEM's up to 500mm septum size

RF Conducted Capabilities

• Generate 10V emf and far beyond using CDN
• Generate 10V emf using BCI
• Generate 10V emf using EM Clamp (Schloder EMCL-20 only, Teseq KEMZ 801A requires more power)

The Amplifier Research 40WD1000 is a portable, self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, solid state amplifier designed for applications where extensive bandwidth and high gain are required. Push-pull circuitry is utilized in all of the high power stages in the interest of lowering distortion and improving stability.

The AR 40WD1000 covers the frequency range from D.C. to 1000MHz in two bands. The low band covers from DC to 0.5MHz. The high band covers from 0.5MHz to 1000MHz. These bands can be selected automatically, manually or by remote control through the remote connector. The 40WD1000, when used with an RF sweep generator, will provide a minimum of 40 watts of swept power. Provisions are included for the remote control of the basic operating functions of the amplifier.
