EFT 500Nx series – an EFT/Burst generator – is an intelligent solution offering exactly what you need for full-compliance immunity tests against Electrical/Fast transients phenomena. The distinct operation features, convenient EUT connection facilities, a clearly arranged menu structure and display philosophy as well as the pre-programmed standard test routines make testing easy, reliable and safe.

Extendable by a variety of test accessories the EFT 500Nx is a universal equipment for abroad range of recommendations even for three-phase applications up to 100A.

As of 2016, the EM Test EFT 500N5.8 is a top of the line electrical fast transient (EFT/Burst) generator. A built in 3 phase coupler capable of 690V per line at 32 amps, any DUT can be hooked up and injected with EFT for evaluation and compliance to IEC 61000-4-4, ANSI C62.41, IEC 60601-1-2 and all other test standards requiring an immunity from electrically fast transients.

The spike frequency can be varied from as low as 100Hz up to 1,000kHz. The EFT 500N5 is capable to generate 10,000spikes pe r second or up to 1,000 spikes per burst. Pre-programmed Standard Test routines and a number of selected User Test routines make the EFT 500N5 an optimum standalone solution for both testing during development and final testing of products and sub-assemblies.
